The company is currently taking bookings for performance venues in Spring/Summer 2012
What is it?:
Part of the 'Therapeutic Living with Other People's Children' project, this exciting multi-media performance has been developed, working with former children and staff of therapeutic communities.
Over a year in preparation, "MAL-ER-JUH'S-TED" draws on archives and oral histories to build a performance exploring the meaning and history of traumatic childhood experience and how generations of adults have tried to do something about it.
Using all the resources of art and theatre, the Trinity Catholic School students were given the challenge of creating a performance event which could be taken to virtually any venue, and performed to virtually any audience. Try them!
Background: There is very good coverage of the work leading up to the performance in the Project Brochure and the Final Report, as well the project website. Very exciting!
Workshops: It has been an extraordinary journey for the students (and staff!). They are very happy to share their learning as well as their performance. Ask about the availability of workshops.
To Book: "MAL-ER-JUH'S-TED" will come to you! To book a performance, or for further information, please contact:
