The Barns Conference Centre

barns

The base from which we work to support therapeutic environments is located in the quiet village of Toddington in rural Gloucestershire. It was named Barns Centre in honour of an early experiment in therapeutic group living and is available at very reasonable rates to others for their own conferences, training or special interest activities.

The Centre is set in its own grounds in a peaceful location on the edge of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, about twelve miles north of Cheltenham. The area is well known for its lovely countryside, popular with walkers and full of beautiful old villages, historic market towns, open gardens, woodlands and nature reserves.

Barns Centre was created as a venue for small conferences, training courses and workshops, but it is also an ideal base for less formal groups, normally with sole occupancy. We welcome enquiries from course leaders looking for a place to hold yoga, tai chi and other retreats and quiet days, and the facilities here, which include extensive grounds, are excellent for groups of painters, ramblers, bird-watchers, garden-lovers and others wishing to explore this very rich and historic locality.

When not in use for conferences, courses or retreats, Barns House, with its own kitchen and sitting room, can be hired by individuals and groups wishing to stay on a self-catering basis.
