Supporting Us
The Planned Environment Therapy Trust is a small charity dedicated to promoting and supporting the work of therapeutic communities, past and present. Through the Barns Centre, we have nurtured an environment where learning and understanding can be explored, shared and preserved.
We support a dedicated team who run and co-ordinate our on site conference facility, and we maintain an active Archive and Study Centre hosting a variety of courses, trainings and events.
Thanks to Heritage Lottery Funding, we were able to expand our team in 2010, to include a full time Project Director, Oral Historian, Archivist and Administrator. Though the project formally ended in October, 2011 the Trust is committed to supporting this team, building on the work and extending our range and scope of activities even further.

"We have a passion for jewellery. We love designing unique and affordable items inspired by the beauty of the landscape of South West England. We are also the daughters of Arthur 'Bunny' Baron, whose pioneering work is archived at PETT. We would like to contribute to the valuable work at PETT, particularly as we saw much of it 'in action' throughout our childhoods."
