The PETT Archive started life in 1989 with a single collection, in a bedroom which served as archive store, office, library and users room, rolled into one; and has since become an internationally recognised home to over two hundred archive collections, ranging from single items to several hundred linear feet; including conventional paper, photographic and computer media, film, video and audio tape, and even hessian and museum objects; supported by an active oral history programme with over 1700  recordings, a research library, and an active information service; housed within adapted and purpose-built, secure and environmentally-controlled facilities.

What collections do you hold?

We hold a number of different collections from people and places concerned with therpeutic communities and planned environment therapy, and we are working towards creating an online catalogue to allow us to share the collections more easily.

For more information or to enquire about a specific person, community or place, please get in touch with Dr. Craig Fees.
